Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support electrical and low-voltage installations across residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities include:
Install and maintain electrical systems according to NEC, state, and local codes
Run, terminate, and test wiring for fire alarm systems, security systems, and low-voltage equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and system performance issues
Perform upgrades, retrofits, and new system installations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Maintain safe and organized job sites in accordance with OSHA standards
Collaborate with security and fire system technicians during installations
Communicate professionally with customers, project teams, and supervisors
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician who is comfortable working in both electrical and technology-driven environments.
Required:
Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State of Maine)
Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical code compliance
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs when required
Preferred:
Experience with fire alarm systems, low-voltage wiring, or security systems
Familiarity with fire alarm panel programming and system integration
