What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical and low-voltage installations across residential and commercial projects:
- Install and maintain electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local codes
- Run, terminate, and test wiring for:
- Fire alarm systems
- Security and access control systems
- Low-voltage infrastructure
- Troubleshoot electrical and system performance issues
- Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Maintain safe, organized job sites aligned with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with security and fire system technicians
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
What You Bring
We’re looking for a skilled electrician who is open to expanding into technology-driven systems:
Required:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State of Maine)
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Strong understanding of NEC and code compliance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs as needed
Preferred:
- Experience with fire alarm systems, security systems, or low-voltage wiring
- Familiarity with fire alarm panels and system integration
